monthly makers meetup

The other day the most exciting thing ever happened! Almost everyone in the gang behind Monthly Makers – our creative challenge (read more here) – had a meetup! I had only met two out of nine before and was very excited as I walked through Gnesta on my way to the train that morning.

I mean I even took this EPIC selfie before I left. SO HYPED.

I also walked past these amazing stairs. We have those in the lil village I live in now, isn’t that amazing?! Anyway, I got on the train and went all the way to the city and Anna María‘s office.I was a tiny bit late, so most people were already there as I got there and had started preparing our lunch. Oh and we hugged. So many hugs. Mikaela was totally pro at chopping.
We decided to sit in the conference room, because we had serious business to attend to. (Am I the only one who thinks of Michael Scott and The Office when I hear “conference room”? I can just imagine him saying “All right, everybody in the conference room NOW”. I might have been watching too much Office.)But first we had to eat. Elsa had brought along an amazing lentil stew!Just for funsies we also had Vietnamese spring rolls, which was the first time for me! Much excite. It was kind of like tacos but completely different, but overall really good! 10/10 avocados. It was just an eternal struggle to create a blog friendly spring roll though, like my first one was so ugly. But I even managed to ~style~ it with some leaves in the end, so I guess I win at blogging. 
And then Alicia gave me this amazing little thing as a random gift! She had found it while thrifting and thought of me. IT’S AMAZING. I’m going to keep all my treasures in it.

After we’d finished eating it was time for coffee, cookies and BUSINESS.

So we brought our notebooks and pens and discussed everything to do with Monthly Makers until our brains were all mushy.
At least Emelie had made us the best cookies in the world. Like I’m not even kidding, they were amazing. Thank you Emelie! <3

And after a few more hours of talking I took the train back to Gnesta and the most intense and amazing day ever was over.
PS. Look at how good I am at white balancing my pictures the table is like 50 shades of yellow. :)))
