weekend in London
I went to London with my dear friend Johanna last weekend! It was amazing and spectacular and I want to go back now. I forgot that I had my camera with me most of the time, which is pretty sad right now but was good then because I truly ~*enjoyed*~ it.Anyway, let’s look at the pictures I got. Here’s one from the airplane! We left super early on the Saturday and arrived in London around 9, so we had a full day then.
We took the tube all the way from Heathrow to King’s Cross, where our hotel was. It wasn’t this funky house though, that would’ve been cool. But the hotel was close to the station and pretty good, so we were happy.
Since we lived so close to King’s Cross we decided to go do Platform 9 3/4 while we waited for access to our hotel room. It was so magical and I bought some stuff! I promise I’ll show you some other day. It was crowded though, and the queue for actually taking a picture with the trolley through the wall was insane, so we skipped it. A few hours later we met up with two friends of mine from London and went to Natural History Museum!
DINOSAURS.
But I think I preferred the architecture. I mean it looks like the stairs of Hogwarts!
Though we also went on to the room filled with minerals, which was great. We looked at them all.
LIKE I MEAN IT’S SO PRETTY?!
I wanted them all. After that we went and had some Korean food at Kimchee (the best), looked through Primark until they closed and went back to the hotel.
The second day we went to Brick Lane and hung out for a while. But most importantly, we ate at Cereal Killer Café. They only serve cereal and have like a million different kinds. I had Krave Hazelnut and Cinnabon (actual cinnamon bun cereal?!) with hazelnut milk, which was amazing. Best place ever. There’s one in Camden too if someone wants to go there.
And then we went to a very disco and christmassy Covent Garden! Walked around, got a bit lost and had some dinner. After dinner we went to Tower Bridge where we had CRAZY RAIN and got completely drenched. Best idea ever. The next day we went to the best place ever, but I have like 300 pictures from this place (I didn’t forget about my camera here for some reason) so that’s gonna be it’s own post. IT WAS AMAZING THOUGH OMG.
And then the last day we went to Camden where most things were closed haha, so we just randomly went and did some touristy stuff the last hour and then started our journey back home to Sweden.
And that was kind of it.
