Monthly Makers Saga: your creations

So many of you seem to have struggled a little bit with this theme, either because it just felt hard, or because you just had too many ideas, haha. But you’ve created SO MANY PRETTY THINGS. Let’s have a look!

Christin made shadow figures with her hands and wrote a really beautiful text about the process! Mikaela was inspired by me (:D) and made double exposures! Anki made these crochet rocks that she placed around the world. Louielei made A FREAKING BOOK??!?!?!


Alicia made a Harry Potter inspired wall hanging. I might steal this one.

Denise made a Slytherin scarf and tiny hats for her guinea pigs Severus and Bellatrix haha. <3 Anni made signs to different magical places for her garden. Hanna took this stunning picture of some fairytale-like woods. Rebecca made a cosplay prop!KomorebitoneTone drew a beautiful fox illustration!

Sandra Nicole worked on her portfolio with the name “Saga”, and needs input about how to proceed! Ronette made a bookmark of the emoji unicorn and robot! Stina made these cute signs for her fairytale wedding which was YESTERDAY!!!! Congratulations :D:D:D Beata folded a pink rabbit with paper!

Sandra made a fox head out of papier-maché! So cute. Jenny drew beautiful portraits of her favourite writers of children’s books! Julia made a beautiful bookmark! Kreativalmgren made a castle out of paper.MM saga 1 (2)Hille has been making several amazing illustrations of Harry Potter-things with a Tove Jansson touch this past week, and it’s absolutely amazing.

Linda made wonderful horns inspired by Harry Potter. Victoria made this amazing place to hang images out of concrete steel! Ruth made those brown candies from Candy Crush Saga as bath bombs! Beatrice painted the Red Riding Hood and the wolf in the clouds.MM saga 1 (1)Anna made this AMAZING dragon egg. Anna María made these super pretty bookmarks! Amelie worked on this fantastic doll house! Katarina made a coaster!1Lillemor wrote a story about two re-used creations! Skaparlusta took this picture in her apple tree! Eva Linnea wrote a story about two trolls! Karin made a hanging inspired by Hedenhös.2Cecilia made a tribute to Harry Potter and made some Felix Felicis. <3 Wilda made a wonderful dragon egg candle holder and wrote a wonderful story about making it! Carin started a saga about her daughters first year with her bff/cat. Elsa had been busy so she made some pictures and wrote a story!

golden twig necklace / monthly makers: wood

I’ve had such a hard time with this theme for Monthly Makers. It really didn’t suit me and the way my life is right now (which is pretty bad, tbh). My first plan was to weave something with twigs in it. And so I did. And it didn’t turn out great. In a weak moment I decided I’d make it a little bit different with some golden paint on the actual weaved bits, but like haha. Bad idea. It kinda just looked like someone had an uh… accident on it. Gj me. Great idea. Anyway, I went into the garden to get some new twigs and started working on my final result – a necklace made of golden twigs!  I made the lock part out of some wire that I made into a hook and a loop. And I used both wire and glue to make it stick together. And yeah, that’s it! Monthly Makers  is a challenge for anyone who wants to be more creative or create more.
