obsession
Whenever I find a new technique that I enjoy I become borderline obsessive. It happened as I was experimenting with fluid painting for the “Colour” theme for Monthly Makers, and it has happened again. I’ve been pixel sorting every day now for two weeks, and I can’t stop thinking about doing it. It’s the only thing I really want to do right now, because it’s SO MUCH FUN.
So I’ve created like a buttload of different abstract creations since showed you the ladies. Even more ladies.
After I made the one with Alicia‘s colours I made one inspired by Mikaela‘s love for turquoise and the ocean. It turned out like this. I made a Serena inspired by no one in particular. (But named after Serena from Gossip Girl because Mikaela who helped me name it thought of cities when she saw it haha.)
And a Maddy inspired by illustrator Maddy Vian and her palette of colours.
Made a bunch of moons. (The last one is named after my bff Emma.)
Florence and Marina. GUESS WHO I NAMED THEM AFTER NO ONE KNOWS!!!I named this one Linda and idk why. 😀
And then Johanna after another bestie. She thinks it looks like monsters though. 🙁
And then I’ve made a bunch more. Added some tilt shift-blur to the last one to make it look like a miniature. I quite like it!
And then I think this one is my favourite so far!
But I don’t really like that I get this obsessive about one thing. I haven’t been blogging, for example, even though I’ve missed you. I haven’t had any ideas about blogging, and I haven’t wanted to blog. I’ve been busy, even though I haven’t. It’s weird. But I guess that’s who I am. I change my mind about what is important once every two months (which is why I struggle with deciding what I’m gonna do with my life heh). We’ll see how things turn out.
(Also tomorrow is my birthday!!)
