Embroidery house in Valencia
I actually forgot to show you my favourite piece of street art in my post about Valencia! This embroidery house by Raquel Rodrigo.
It’s at Placa de Lope de Vega and it’s actually quite small and looks a bit worn (second picture here is of how bright the colours used to be) but it’s sooooooo pretty anyway. I was very upset that a restaurant had put those ugly black things in front of half of it. Ruining my shot!! I had actually seen pictures of these cross stitch houses on the internet before, and was super happy when I found out that one of them were in Valencia! So this was one of our goals that day. We also went to the old silk market which had some serious pillar action, but I’ll show you that some other time.
