Mixed media photography: Hèron Cendrè by Vivienne B

So I found this series by photographer Vivienne B a few weeks ago and I haven’t been able to get it out of my mind. Vivienne is an Italian photographer who focuses on fashion and portrait photography, and this series of some kind of mixed media photography is OUTSTANDING. It is what I assume is printed photographs combined with flowers, snow and shards of glass. It’s simply stunning. Let’s have a look.      Like honestly, I just love this so much. I can’t decide which ones are my favourites, I think they all are. But the combination of cherry blossom with the pale blue of them dress is amazing.

golden twig necklace / monthly makers: wood

I’ve had such a hard time with this theme for Monthly Makers. It really didn’t suit me and the way my life is right now (which is pretty bad, tbh). My first plan was to weave something with twigs in it. And so I did. And it didn’t turn out great. In a weak moment I decided I’d make it a little bit different with some golden paint on the actual weaved bits, but like haha. Bad idea. It kinda just looked like someone had an uh… accident on it. Gj me. Great idea. Anyway, I went into the garden to get some new twigs and started working on my final result – a necklace made of golden twigs!  I made the lock part out of some wire that I made into a hook and a loop. And I used both wire and glue to make it stick together. And yeah, that’s it! Monthly Makers  is a challenge for anyone who wants to be more creative or create more.
