Shop updates - new prints available!
Hello again my wonderful friends! At the start of the year, I closed my shop for a while to sort some things out, but it’s been up an running for over a month now and I haven’t mentioned it on here. So I thought I’d talk a little bit about the shop update with you in this post, tell you a little bit about the pieces I’ve added and stuff like that! The two above are my new favourites, they’re made in a new way that I got the idea for while I was creating another piece that didn’t go well at all. They’re also part of my new exploration of negative space, which has by the way really kind of revolutionised my creative style right now! They’re called “Krossa”. I’ve been giving all my new pieces of these negative space-creations Swedish names, I just feel like they fit the Scandinavian aesthetic more than anything I’ve created before, and I do think the Swedish language has a bunch of pretty words.
“Krossa” might not be the prettiest word, but I think it fits for these two. It basically means “crush” and I like that these two look like explosions in a way. Lima/Fashionicide said on Instagram that the one on the left looks like “the very moment a planet has been hit by a giant laser beam, and it’s collapsing in on itself and exploding into space”, which I think is such a cool visual.
The above image is obviously a mockup and not a real picture of my art above a sofa, it’s Photoshop + Unsplash picture. But I like adding them to environments like this to make them feel a bit more real.
YOU CAN BUY PRINTS OF KROSSA HERE.
There are also a buuuunch of other new things in the shop, from things I’ve created recently. They’re quite different from each other, but I still think you can see that they’re made by me, I don’t really know what it is though. Click each of the images to get to the page for each product.
It feels nice to have everything up and running again, and to have things for sale. I still have hundreds of pieces to add to the shop, but I’m kind of more interested in adding my new things so we’ll see.
Anyway, that was it for today! Hope you’re all well!
