I decided it was time to change it up a little bit on the blog! So I made a new header and changed my picture in the sidebar! It looks a bit silly in this picture since it’s the same picture twice but that’s over now! Anyway, this is what it looked like before. I was never quite happy with that header, like it was a bit meh. And for some reason I hate the way the J looks. So I changed it. Yeah that’s about it.

So I made something out of the self-portraits . I keep coming back to fire (which just so happens to be the same picture of fire over and over again, I need to go see more fires) but this time I think it was extra effective. Like this is the first time my photo manipulations have turned into some kind of story! So I’m super excited, and I hope you all like them! QUESTION TIME: Can you figure out the story? Hehe. Shot some self-portraits yesterday to use for my photo manipulations. Now I just need to decide what to do with them! Thought I’d show them to you at least, so you can see part of the ~*process*~. And also I quite like them in this form.  Today is also the day when we’re revealing the theme for this months Monthly Makers, check it out over on Beatrice’s blog ! This month is this amazing theme that can be interpreted in a lot of different ways, and I’m super excited to see what people create! We have also launched a Pinterest page where we’ll have inspiration boards for every theme during the year as well as pins of everything we created together during 2015. We’ve pinned a couple of inspiring things to the board of this months theme, so check it out here .

For Monthly Makers September – Nature I made this pair of photo manipulations that I was quite happy with. But since then I’ve slowly grown to dislike them, I don’t like the colours, they’re too intense and they don’t really feel like me. So I re-edited them! It’s super nice to be able to just recreate something like this, because it’s really quite easy! Anyway, this is what it looked like before: And here’s what it is now: A lot lighter and more muted but I like it more this way. It’s dreamier, and less like burning skies.    

Got my new glass prism in the post the other day, I ordered one after taking my prism pictures in December ( here and here ) and I’ve been so excited to get it. Obviously I had to go out for a walk and try it out. Here’s how it turned out: So different from the other ones, but this prism works way better. It’s in actual glass and not plastic (heh) so the quality is way better. It’s a pretty plain one but it’s still great! I’ve got a few crazier ones on the way too though! Having so much fun with this.
